Easy, Quick, and Reliable
This really couldn't be much easier than it is. You install it here, you add some script to your pages, you then select which IPs not to include (your own, the clients', etc.) and you're up and running. It's great from a Web Designer/Developer standpoint because you can see which plugins, what screen res, what browser your visitors use, and you can bill your client with just your time costs. A good developer on your team can easily customize it to add features it doesn't already have too. You can make instant, customized PDFs for your clients as well and although they aren't as pretty as I would make myself, clients love them.

Basic, but easy to install and use if you read the instructions
I'm using this on a church website. It is giving me useful info about source of hits, timing of hits, legnth of stay on website, and what people are using in search engines to find the site. Be sure to read the instructions for what to place on each page--particularly PHP-scripted pages. It is easy to do, but you do need to RTFM.

No stats
This software didn't show even a single stat of my webpage. I would write about it if it had shown me some stats... This software is really bad...

Basics....
It's really the basics re hits and visits etc. I use this in addition to google analytics and statcounter.com. Both are nicer than this free package, but it is always nice to have something running on your own server.
