That E-Commerce Solution is gorgeous, people whoh made it spent a lot of effort, and they are providing it for free, this is a great thing, thanks alot to everyone participated in this product, it made my life really easier

Just Alright
I have used osCommerce for over 6 years. It has always required a great deal of work to customize becuase let's face it - it's boring out the box. I do create osCommerce with having an extensive library of modules for such customization. But when it came down to wanting to run a really professional store were I didn't have to spend endless hours working on the configuration I decided to switch to NOPCOMMERCE. OsCommerce just not ready for the major leagues.

cant wait to finally get it installed
I have used oscommerce for many years; it is a real nice ecommerce tool. it also has a good customer care system; inventory management control for your services/products that you are selling; and the shopping cart always works...even if you remove an item from the cart! The installation process here is taking a bit of time, but one week versus several weeks otherwise I think is a good tradeoff. hope I get it right this next time. been awhile, and of course the godaddy way is all new to me.

I love osCommerce...!
...Just not from GoDaddy! (Sorry GoDaddy!) osCommerce is easy to setup and generally easy to repair when a problem comes up. I have installed and used it in the past, both with my own server, and later with GoDaddy. My SMTP relay was failing to send mail through GoDaddy and so I decided to give GoDaddy the reigns, let them install it and see what happens. Unfortunately, now the only page on my site visible is my main page and every click leads me to a 404. I am having it removed so I can install my own copy from OSCommerce's website. Thanks for trying, GoDaddy, and thanks for the support OsCommerce! P.S. OSCommerce also has many user-provided modules available at their main website to allow for complete customization of your site.

Would someone please put this relic out of its misery?
I stopped working on osCommerce back in 2004 when I felt it was really let go, left behind the times and failed to deliver anything new. From security to technology platform, lack of AJAX features or social plug-ins, not enough features to showcase the product and a messy messy template with tentacles residing all over the deep directories of the system. My clients hated it; took way too much effort to skin (and strip away all those localized styles and the abundance of obnoxiously-ugly cliparts; It's a mess. I just logged in after nearly 7 years to check it out again and what do you know? It's still version 2.2, loaded with antique technology, security, design, user experience and template features. Someone fell asleep at the wheel. Was a fantastic app in 2001 , but nowadays, oh, can someone either make version 7 of this available or just put this relic out of its misery?
