Buggy, slow and not very easy to use overall
You'll need a lot of patience, and perserverance to get what you want out of this CMS. The bugs and slowness, and poor support info from the makers put me off using this for my site.

Don't believe the hype!
It's promoted as an intuitive CMS. It is in fact, an over-hyped web-based HTML editor. What is most frustrating, is that if you choose to process a server-side install, a main file that is necessary for functionality will be lost. What's the point of installing SilverStripe?? Take my advice... save yourself the aggravation and look elsewhere.

My favorite CMS.
SilverStripe is fantastic. It's not written for your average Joe to get a custom website up and running - it's designed to make writing custom applications easy. The code uses classes and good OO design principles for a clean look.

The admin interface is fantastic.

Give SS a try if you're in need of a CMS.
