Silverstripe is Easy to Use and Great for Simple Web Sites
If you need a simple website that is easy to use and navigate. I can recommend using Silverstripe. It is flexible enough to make an attractive professional looking website. I would call this intuitive because you can do simple things without refering to documentation. When you do need the documentation, it is easy to find and easy to read.

Customizable, powerful, reliable!
Silverstripe is by far the best CMS I have used to date. There is a little bit of a learning curve, but there is a lot of support out there, and a large (and growing) user base that will help you with your questions. Every part of Silverstripe is customizable, and there are lots of modules (plugins) you can get to make silverstripe even more powerful. LOVE IT!

Flexible, powerful, simple.
I have found Silverstipe to be very flexible and powerful CMS. The framework is simple to use if you have some programming experience (or are willing to learn) and allows for much more than "online page editing". Fwiw, it does install a nice template by default (called BlackCandy) and there are lots to choose from at SilverStripe.org. 'Navigation bars' are always involved! The documentation isn't great, and some simple tasks sometimes require a trip to the forum to find the (often very simple) answer. This stops it getting 5 stars.

Has potential
Feels more like a page editor instead of a CMS. Such a thing is what I am looking for, but I want, and need more control. If I could edit the themes it would help. As with many such Content Management Systems, I can find theme layouts that I like but in the wrong color schemes. I would also like to be able to import a page, edit it and then export it back out. The ability to do this across my domain folders would be my dream.

By far the best CMS available AND THERE IS A DEFAULT TEMPLATE
Plain and simple - most, if not all, of the negative reviews here are from people who must not know how to use this system. The templates are easily available upon install and the modules are unbelievable. This is THE CMS for designers who want a CMS that works for you, not a CMS that you have to work around.
