Install failed three times in a row!
Trying another folder... the install folder existed once in the past... maybe that is an issue?

Great bug tracker and how to solve it’s email notification bug
Mantis is a great easy to use and manage bug tracker tool. Unfortunately this version has a bug – it does not send notification email to its users upon new bug submission. To fix that issue all you need is to add these two lines to the config_inc.php file: $g_notify_flags['new']['threshold_min'] = DEVELOPER; $g_notify_flags['new']['threshold_max'] = ADMINISTRATOR; After adding these two lines: every user defined as DEVELOPER or ADMINISTRATOR or in-between will receive notification emails for every new bug submission.
