Don't Know Much....
BUT I KNOW I LOVE MODX! I am relatively new to building websites and this tool is extremely powerful and felxible. I have been able to do amazing things with a rudimentary knowledge of HTML, CSS, and PHP. My primary expertise is in search engine marketing, but this tool enables me to expand my services to small businesses cost effectively at an affordable price to my clients. LOVE IT!

I've used them all too... but this is too complex. WP 3.0 wins, here's why:
Very flexible, very interesting CMS. But I went through all the CMS systems and found WP 3.0 to be the best. For instance, why do I need to code a menu in modx? Why can't the menu be easily customized? I can't keep reading tutorials... WP had my menu WITHOUT a tutorial. I don't want to write all my own code unless I have to and in modx/drupal, you basically have to write too much code. Joomla doesn't work well with URLs. In some cms's I had to have a plugin to bring back blog functionality... what? WP is just the most full featured, well-documented, and easy to learn (for most). Well-versed coders will like Drupal or ModX (I think).

Excellent product
I have used some of the others and found MODx takes a little time to understand and get used to, but is well worth the effort.
