Works great...
Easy install, had a little trouble getting the thumbnails to work but after that it was a piece of cake. If your not going to be doing a lot with your site and just need something to put a gallery up this is perfect.
Good Freeware
Easy to setup if you are ok with one of the standard templates. Really easy to upload batches of photos or videos -- get yourself a decent FTP client like WS-FTP Lite, or FireFTP. Coppermine will easily add the new files to its database. Or, use the Windows XP Web Publishing feature if that's your system. Overall, there's more functionality in this package than one would expect from freeware. Note -- if you plan to integrate this gallery with another content management system, install with that option. It's harder to do later.
It's OK
For the price it's fine. I don't really recommend it even though there are only two others to choose from here at the Gonaddy site. I think I'll dig around some open source sites and find something more suitable. Oh, and it won't install the updates, hasn't in quite a while.

Good application, but...
As gallery's go, Coppermine is a decent app. It's stable and reliable but it lacks a good selection of themes and it lacks options. As with any web based setup, you can edit themes in something like Dreamweaver or even build your own but in the end, they all wind up looking pretty much the same because of Coppermines limitations. Maybe if you put a good eight hours into coding a theme, you might be happy with it but I couldn't bring myself to spend that much time on it when Gallery2 offers better themes, more features and more customization right out of the box (so to speak). If you want simple and functional, go with Coppermine. If you want something more advanced and better looking, go with Gallery2 and browse the web for themes.
Terrible Software
Even for a free piece of software this is terrible stuff
