Not Bad
The 4images software isn't bad for what it does, but it isn't for everyone. I found it easy to modify to my personal needs, but I also found that the support of this program isn't the best in the world, in fact I would have to say that it is an area that needs the most help.

There is a community online to help, but responses are slow to come and not always in english. There are a few dedicated people who are willing to help, but serving such a large community of users in your spare time is a pretty big task for anyone.

So, while I did find this program to be useful for my needs, I also can't recommend it to anyone who needs hand holding type support, because it just isn't always there.

Not user friendly...
Could not find a way to upload pictures. Not very user friendly.
Switched to Coppermine, and found it a much better app...

Love It!
It works really great as a photo gallery for the members! It's very simple to use and it has the right stuff for a simple photo gallery my members can use to show off their drawings and stuff!

It takes a novice...
Take a novice, me; add in several applications with a pinch of complete and utter impatience - and you get 4Images for a gallery program. Then delete what you don't want.

Coppermine is a danged good program and I like the "layout" better and a definitely touch more flexible, but for a true cut/paste alternative, 4Imgaes is quite good. I'd like to see it a bit prettier, but that's where my bad skills as an html programmer come into play. LOTS of "save as" and "rename" going to be happening.
