I have worked with it before
I have tried several different gallery apps but I keep coming back to this one. The back end is the easiest to use and you can customize colors and the look. My only problem is that I have yet to find a way to add watermarks to my images. there are several MODs out there but none seem to work.

Not the gallery for my dad - or me.
I am not a fan of the interface, and it lacks any fully baked option for uploading more than one image at a time. (The forums describe a way to FTP images in a specific naming format and how to have the program rebuild the thumbnails, but that is a manual cludge)

Mediocre
While the layout is ok, the options are minimal. The template is not attractive by any means. The organization abilities that it offers are great, but not appealing to the eyes. If you are wanting something very basic an quick, then this is for you. Otherwise, keep shopping.

There has to be something betteer than this.
Program is way too complicated and has an ugly interface.
